Megan Thee Stallion Hot Girl Skin
Today, I want to review Megan Thee Stallion's face routine. Last week Megan Thee Stallion posted her skincare routine to BAZAAR’s Youtube channel. Megan is well known for her hot girl music and luxurious natural body. But more recently, she has taken the internet by storm with pictures of her face without makeup. In July of 2020, she posted her first picture without makeup.

Then she posted another photo in December bare-faced on Instagram. After these photos, many people were wondering what she does to keep her skin so flawless. Last week she answered. Now she has an entire face routine out that shows her washing off her makeup and prepping for bed. I want to talk about some of the products that she uses, the ones that are my favorites, and the ones that I don't like so much.
She starts by talking about how she uses Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to remove the makeup off of her face. Although this seems to work for her, I am not a fan of these wipes. In the past, I have used Neutrogena wipes to remove makeup. One thing I can say is that it does its job. It removes makeup very effectively and thoroughly. However, these makeup wipes are formulated with fragrance. Fragrancing can be sensitizing to some people. For me, any face product with fragrance breaks me out. Nonetheless, not everyone is sensitive to fragrance, so this can be a great product for some people.
Next, she mentions that she uses Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser. This cleanser is a great cleanser for people with sensitive skin and is very gentle on the skin. Consequently, this cleanser is very popular on social media, and many people have raved about using it. I have tried this product before; however, I had to discontinue using this product because it is also formulated with fragrance. So, unfortunately, I can’t reap the benefits of this product.
After she washes her face, she puts on a moisturizer called “Crème de la Mer Moisturizer Cream”. This is the only product that she uses in the video that I haven’t tried. The main reason I probably haven’t bought it is because it's so expensive. This product retails on Sephora for $190. That is a little pricey for a moisturizer, but it does have some great ingredients. It contains algae and Medicago sativa which are plant extracts and great antioxidants for the skin. It also has niacin which is an amazing vitamin for skin-restoring. Despite all of this, again, this product contains fragrance. So while this moisturizer may be great for some, it’s not for me.
Lastly, she ends her routine with one of my favorite oils, Bio-oil. Bio-oil does also have fragrance in it, but it is probably one of the best oils out there. This holy grail can treat all types of marks including dark marks on your face and body, stretch marks, and surgery scars. I don’t use bio oil on my face because of the fragrance, but I use it everywhere else on my body. From my experience, this oil provided surprising results within two weeks. This might be the only product that she uses that I recommend.
Overall, I’m not a fan of Megan’s face routine because all of her products contain fragrances. Fragrance has no actual benefit for the skin and can be sensitizing to some people. Therefore, I believe that fragrance shouldn’t be in skincare products. Nonetheless, if you're not sensitive to fragrance, I think that you should give some of the products that she uses a try. Megan’s looks stunning. She does have some hyperpigmentation on her cheeks, but so do most people. Regardless, she is beautiful and her skin looks really good. So maybe you should give some of these products a try. If you do, let me know how it goes.
